Effective Safety Committees

A safety committee can be an effective safety program tool; an avenue for energized, successful, mission-driven employee involvement. But where do committee members get the knowledge of hazard control principles and meeting management they need to be truly successful? Committees can undertake many tasks in a safety program, but which jobs should they do, and what should they avoid?

Prerequisites: NONE

Who should attend: All members of the safety committee in small and medium sized businesses; loss control managers, safety professionals, occupational health nurses, industrial hygienists and others involved in the development, implementation and evaluation of company safety plans.
